Sherpa is one of the softest, most luxurious fabrics for keeping warm. It's used in throws, pillows, furniture and as a soft and insulated lining in women's jackets, coats and parkas. Sherpa is characterized by the soft piling on one side and a smooth, soft texture on the other side. Although Sherpa is named for the people who live in the mountains of Nepal, the material is typically made of polyester and synthetic materials, making it more of a “faux Sherpa.” Rockstar Original's Sherpa lined jackets for women are designed and hand made by our LA-based team.
